You don't always need to be there

If you live out of the area or can't take time off, we can often handle the job without you on site. As long as we can get access to the unit and know what's going, we can work out the details with you by phone or text. We can also send photos when the unit is empty, so you can close it out with the facility.

Go through it first, or let us handle it all

Some customers want to go through boxes first to pull out photos, papers or keepsakes. Others are ready for everything to go. We're happy either way. If you'd like, we can set aside anything that looks important, like file boxes or photo albums, so you can check it before it's hauled.

What we can't take

Most storage facilities don't allow hazardous materials, but they still turn up: fuel cans, propane bottles, paint and cleaners. We can't haul those. We'll leave them aside for you to take to a proper drop-off.

How pricing works

Your price comes down to how full the unit is and what's inside. A 5x10 with boxes is a very different job from a 10x30 packed with furniture. Photos taken from the doorway tell us most of what we need, and you'll have a firm number before we load anything.

The math on closing a unit

Storage rent adds up quietly. Even a modest unit can cost well over a thousand dollars a year, and many people keep paying long after they've stopped needing what's inside. Clearing it out once usually costs less than a few months of rent, and the savings start the next billing cycle.

What to expect

1. Send us the unit size, location and a few photos.
2. We set a time and confirm gate codes or access with you or the facility.
3. We load everything and haul it away.
4. We sweep the unit so it's ready to turn back in.
